Classic Transmissions is a subsidiary of Raisors Transmissions, a company with a history of over 35 years in the Avon Indiana area. The owner David Raisor personally has over 50 years of transmission rebuilding experience, from antique autos to the most modern vehicles now coming off assembly line.

Although they are capable of rebuilding and repairing modern automotive and heavy commercial equipment transmissions. Mr. Raisor has opted to dedicate his time rebuilding manual and automatic transmissions of the Classic collectable cars.

As an owner of a classic auto, would you rather have a rookie who has no real experience other than book knowledge of the old classics, or would you prefer an experienced hand. Mr. Raisor rebuilt his first 1957 Chevy transmission in 1958. The automobiles that are known as classics today, are the new cars that Mr. Raisor began his trade over 50 years ago.
