Classic Transmissions is owned by Mr. David Raisor and is located in the quiet country setting of Avon, Indiana. Classic Transmissions a subsidiary of Raisors Transmissions is a fully certified transmission repair center. Mr. Rasiors business philosophy is "Build it right the first time and back what you build".

Mr. Raisor began his automotive repair career over 50 years ago. His experience includes yet is not limited to transmission repair and rebuilding of all modern, classic automobiles and heavy equipment drivelines. Also his experience includes a number of years as a staff and consulting instructor at the many of the local automotive technical schools. In addition he has owned and operated Raisors Transmissions for over 35years in the same location. Raisors Transmissions became well know in the Central Indiana area for tackling the difficult repairs that the local dealership's factory techs could not correct. Over the past 35 years many of the local dealers would contract Raisors Transmissions to rebuild the transmissions of their in warranty autos.

Mr. Raisor's many years of experience with classic cars has steered him to dedicate his facility to the rebuilding of classic car and classic truck transmissions.
